German expert meets with chairman of Milli Majlis`s committee on Agrarian Policy
Baku, April 27 (AZERTAC). Visiting Azerbaijan expert of Humanitarian Organization for the Ecological Agriculture of Germany (EED) Petra Feil has met with chairman of Milli Majlis`s (Azerbaijani parliament) Committee on Agrarian Policies Eldar Ibrahimov on Tuesday.
Eldar Ibrahimov informed the expert on activity, structure, international relations of Milli Majlis.
Petra Feil said that EED collaborates with Azerbaijan. She underlined that earlier organization rendered aid to Azeri refugees and IDPs, but then this aid was substituted with financing agricultural fields and guaranteeing the people with food products. German expert also stressed the EED highly evaluates the projects realized by the Azerbaijani government on development of agrarian sphere, the law “On the net output of agriculture” accepted by Milli Majlis and the aim of the meeting is to obtain detailed information about the mentioned law.
Eldar Ibrahimov said the law on ecologically net agricultural output serves increase in the volume of production of ecologically net output of agriculture and the regulation of market relations. He spotlighted after the adoption of this law on the initiative of Azerbaijan President there was prepared special state program. “Our main aim is to ensure people with ecologically net agricultural output”, Mr. Ibrahimov said.
The sides exchanged views on development of agrarian sphere in Azerbaijan, the study of international experience in this sphere and other issues.
