Great Leader Heydar Aliyev commemorated in Istanbul

The Azerbaijani delegation has visited the monument of national leader of Azerbaijan in the Heydar Aliyev Park in Sariyer district of Istanbul, Turkiye, to commemorate the 19th anniversary of the death of the Great Leader.
Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul Narmina Mustafayeva, Chairman of Sariyer Municipality of Istanbul Shukru Genc, employees of Sariyer Municipality, consulate, diplomats, officials, intellectuals, representatives of mass media and NGOs attended the event.
Addressing the ceremony, Consul General Narmina Mustafayeva highlighted the legacy of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the glorious victory of Azerbaijan in the 44-day Patriotic War achieved thanks to the successful continuation of his policy by President Ilham Aliyev. She also hailed the National Leader's invaluable services to the development of Azerbaijan.
The event participants paid tribute to the Great Leader, and laid wreaths and flowers at his monument.
They also put flowers at the bust of the founder of the Republic of Turkiye Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
