HEAD OF RUSSIAN TRADE REPRESENTATION IN AZERBAIJAN MEETS CIBC MEMBERS
The International Trade Center on December 3 hosted a round-table meeting on “Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia: status and outlooks” of the Caspian Integration Business Club (CIBC) members and Head of Trade Representation of Russian Federation in Azerbaijan Yuri Shedrin.
President of the Club Telman Aliyev briefed guests on CIBC activities. He said the CIBC was founded in June 2002 under support of the largest oil and gas companies of the International Publishing House "Caspian Energy".
The main purpose of CIBC is paving the way for general program on business, political, energy, customs, taxation and other fields, realization of regional information projects, supporting of dialogue between state and private structures.
Caspian Integration Business (petroleum and service) Club is the largest and dynamic developing organization, joining the interests of approximately 500 companies and organizations from over 30 countries of the world. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is honorary Chairman of the Club.
Head of Trade Representation of Russia in Azerbaijan Yuri Shedrin addressing the meeting told of the major goals of this organization, which was established in 2006 to promote trade links between Azerbaijan and Russia.
Also the meeting was addressed by Ambassadors of Russia and Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Vasili Istratov and Serik Primbetov. Both were admitted as honorary members of the Club and presented CIBC certificates.
