HEAD OF THE REPUBLIC OF ADZHARIA ASLAN ABASHUDZE ARRIVED IN BAKU
At the Bina airport, the esteemed guest was welcomed by deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov, Ambassador of Georgia in Baku Zurab Gumberidze and other officials.
Responding to the questions from journalists, Mr. Abashidze said that the goal of the visit is to congratulate President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on his election to the high office.
Asked about prospects of Georgia-Azerbaijan relations, the head of Adzharia stated that “our relations will be continued for many centuries to come. We must just expand the frame of these relations and use all existing potential to this end.
Touching upon the current situation in Georgia, A. Abashidze stated it is now being settled.
