“Azerbaijan and Belarus are interested in expanding relations in the pharmaceutical area and establishing a joint venture in Azerbaijan,” said Belarus Minister of Health Valery Malashko as he met with Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev.
He also said Belarus is ready to assist specialist trainings in the field of medicine.
Mustafayev hailed the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus, including in economy, trade, humanitarian and other areas.
The minister said that the opening of Azerbaijan Trading House in Minsk this May was important in terms of developing bilateral relations between the two countries and increasing the export of Azerbaijani products to Belarus.
Mustafayev noted that Azerbaijan pays special attention to the development of the pharmaceutical industry. “We have already established Pirallahi Industrial Park, which is specialized in this field. He also pointed out that work is underway to establish a joint venture with Russia and Iran within the industrial park.” “Belarus companies can also benefit from the opportunities created at Pirallahi Industrial Park,” he added.
