Hungary hosts Day of Azerbaijan
Baku, February 26 (AZERTAC). An event “The day of Azerbaijan” supported by Kaposhvar University and organized by Azerbaijan Embassy was held in Hungary.
Opening the ceremony, Azerbaijan Ambassador to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev informed students about the history and culture of Azerbaijan, relationship between Azerbaijan and Hungary, Azerbaijan-Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Khojaly genocide.
Employees of Azerbaijan Embassy to Hungary Aliyev and Safarov made presentations of existing visa rules to Azerbaijan and about the country`s economy.
The event also featured exhibitions “Azerbaijan`s miracles” posters by Azerbaijan Embassy to Hungary and books about the country in the Hungarian language, performances of pieces from Azerbaijani and Hungarian music and demonstration of small scenes.
The rector of the University held a meeting with employees of the Azerbaijan Embassy to Hungary to discuss perspectives of cooperation between Kaposhvar University and universities of Azerbaijan.
