International conference on Earth Sciences kicks off in Baku
Baku, October 5 (AZERTAC). The 4th international conference called “New Approaches and Achievements in Earth Sciences” for young scientists and students has today stared in Azerbaijan`s capital.
Young scientists from Austria, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan and other countries are participating in the conference.
The participators will make reports on their researches dealing with different branches of Earth sciences.
Russian scientist, head of the department of dynamic geology of the Moscow State University Nikolai Koronovskiy will deliver a report called “Earth: Past, today, future” on the second day of the conference.
The conference organized by the Geology Institute of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) is held with support of the Science Development Fund under Azerbaijani President and BP Company.
