Baku, May 19 (AZERTAC). An international congress on architecture and town-planning of Turkic-speaking states and Kazakhstan`s ninth forum on town-planning are due in Astana, Kazakhstan from May 24 to 26.

The event will bring together over 300 architects and construction experts from 30 countries. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and a wide range of top officials from the Turkic states will reportedly attend the Congress.

The event will focus on the best achievements in the sphere of architecture and town-planning in Turkic countries, preservation of architectural monuments and other issues.
