INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM HELD IN KHARKOV
Kyiv, September 17 (AZERTAC). The 2nd International Economic Forum on theme “Innovations. Investments. Kharkov initiatives” kicked off in Kharkov, Ukraine. The forum has brought together business leaders from Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Russia, European Union countries, diplomatic corpses accredited in Ukraine, etc.
The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli delivered a speech at the forum.
Acting mayor of Kharkov Gennadiy Kernes said that the fact that Euro 2012 will be held in Kharkov gives an impetus to the investments to modernize the city. “The implementation of 300 events, including restoration of Metallist stadium and Kharkov International airport worth 9 billion Hryvnias (over than 1 bln USD) is expected as part of the preparation for the Championships”, Kernes added.
