International Media Forum underway in Belarus
Baku, June 24 (AZERTAC). The 6th International Belarus Media Forum is underway in Minsk.
Journalists and media experts from 21 countries are attending the forum.
Azerbaijani delegation led by deputy head of the social-political department of the Presidential Administration Arastun Mehdiyev is participating in the forum.
Participants laid a wreath at the monument in Victory Square on Wednesday.
Belarusian State Choreographic Ensemble “Khoroshkhi” performed a new programme “the Memory of the Soul”.
Summer School of Journalists was organized in the Journalism Institute of Belarusian State University on Tuesday. The school featured master classes by leading journalists of foreign countries.
A plenary session will be held today with participation of 500 journalists in the National Library. The session includes discussions on the Republic of Belarus in the context of contemporary geopolitical processes.
Participants of the forum will get familiar with Castle Complex and Nesvizh palace-park ensemble in Mir city on Saturday. A resolution on special role of mass media in the life of state will be adopted the same day.
