`IRAN AND AZERBAIJAN CAN INCREASE TRADE TURNOVER TO USD 10 BILLION`
Baku, June 27 (AZERTAC). “Azerbaijan-Iran trade turnover comes to $500 million but both countries can increase it up to $10 billion. We will put our efforts into achieving this goal,” said Iran`s Minister of Finance and Economy Seyyid Shamsaddin Hussaini.
The minister noted Iran-Azerbaijan deep-rooted historical ties provide opportunities for expanding economic relations.
The Iranian Minister said he had been received by President Ilham Aliyev to discuss development of bilateral relations.
He pointed out friendly relationship between Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Mahmoud Ahmedinejad of Iran contribute to development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
