Iranian President Rouhani in Kermanshah to assess quake damage

President Hassan Rouhani has arrived in Kermanshah province in western Iran to assess the amount of damage that the devastating earthquake has left on the people and their houses, according to Mehr News agency.

Arriving at Kermanshah airport Tuesday morning, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani vowed that his administration, armed forces and the Iranian nation will utilize all their resources and capacities to assist the earthquake-stricken people of Kermanshah so that they would return to normal living conditions as soon as possible.

“The government will employ all its power to assist in the improvement of people’s physical conditions, as well as the reconstruction of their houses,” President Rouhani promised the people of Kermanshah who took the brunt of a 7.3 magnitude earthquake that struck Iran-Iraq border on Sunday.
