ISRAEL, AZERBAIJAN: PARLIAMENTARY FRIENDSHIP GROUP ESTABLISHED
Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament Ogtay Asadov met with the visiting Israeli Knesset Member Joseph Shagal, 23 January. Mr. Asadov spoke of development of the Azerbaijan- Israel relations, highly assessing role of the parliaments in this cause.
Joseph Shagal said that at the Israeli Knesset there was established an inter-parliamentary group of friendship with the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Republic. At his words, the group will promote not only the inter-parliamentary relations, but also the links between two counties in all spheres.
Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan Artur Lenk attended the meeting.
