Italy offers to host Ukraine League games

President of the Italian Football Association (FIGC) Gabriele Gravina said Italy are open to hosting games if the Ukrainian League wants to continue its season during the war, according to Football Italia.
Shakhtar Donetsk were the league leaders with 48 points after 19 rounds, followed by Dinamo Kyiv on 46.
Now the Italian Football Federation has come up with an intriguing idea to play the Premier Liha games on Italian soil.
“The FIGC is prepared, as well as collaborating to help welcome refugees, to also host Ukrainian league games,” President Gravina told the Corriere della Sera newspaper.
“We are working on other initiatives too.”
They started all Serie A matches five minutes late last week, with a message read out before kick-off calling for peace.
