KABUL SUICIDE CAR BOMBING KILLS AT LEAST SEVEN
Baku, May 18 (AZERTAC). At least seven people have been killed and 29 injured in a suicide car bomb attack targeting a Nato convoy in the Afghan capital, Kabul, police say.
The attack took place at the Darulaman crossroads, close to the parliament and other government buildings. The fatalities were Afghan civilians. There was no immediate word on whether any foreign troops were killed or hurt.
Despite tight security in Kabul, the city has seen some high-profile attacks by Taliban militants in recent months. The suicide bomber is reported to have been driving a car laden with explosives.
The area has been cordoned off by Nato forces and Afghan police, and the injured have been taken to hospital.
