KAZAKH PREMIER MEETS WITH PRESIDENT OF “LUKOIL”
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Danial Ahmadov received President of “Lukoil” company of Russia and managers of national company “Kazmunaygas”. The meeting revolved around the issues of development of Tub-Karagan and Atesh sites in Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea. The agreement on joint development of these fields has reportedly been signed.
Taking into account that this agreement is the largest project in the Caspian Sea signed between Russian and Kazakh companies, Prime Minister expressed confidence that it would bear fruits.
Vagit Alekperov noted that Lukoil had invested approximately $2 billion in oil sector of Kazakhstan and this process would be continued into the future.
