The Turkish “Koc Holding” group of companies plays important role in economic restoration of Iraq. Today, the holding’s share in Turkey’s export to Iraq is 33 percent. According to Director General of the holding’s “Ram Harici Ticaret” Halil Gulchur, close cooperation with Iraqi companies was established as early as 1979, and now the country is imported from Turkey products of the companies “Archelik” and “Beko”, “Ford” cars, and “Otocar” busses, as well as different sorts of foodstuff. In addition, the group of companies is an important player in Iraqi energy sector.

The “Koc Holding” marked its 40th anniversary includes banks and financial structures, over 100 companies dealing with various industrial production; the company employs 56 thousand people and has over 10 thousand partners throughout the world including in Azerbaijan.
