LEADER OF AZERBAIJAN FOOTBALL “NEFTCHI” WINS “COMMONWEALTH CUP”
Azeri soccer players already on 9th minute could open the score. But captain of Neftchi Nadir Nabiyev failed. Instead, on 17th minute, after the corner, Neftchi player Ruslan Abbasov sent the ball to his own goal - 0:1. Nevertheless, on 32nd minute, after receiving the ball from Vadim Borets, Nadir Nabiyev realized his shot - 1:1. In five minutes, Vadim Borets scored another goal - 2:1, after which the soccer players of Lithuania also beat a goal - 2:2.
In the second half, after pass by Nadir Nabiyev, Branimir Subashich kicked the third goal, leaving behind “Kaunas” - 3:2. And in 56th minute, the Neftch player Svyatoslav Stefanov had a best kick - 4:2.
Thus, Azeri football players won the Commonwealth Cup for 2006.
