Lima marks 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan-Peru diplomatic relations

A solemn concert marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Peru was held in Lima, the capital of Peru.
Organized by the Diplomatic Mission of Azerbaijan in Peru, the concert was held with the support of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, and the National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO.
The anniversary event was attended by representatives of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, mayors from various regions, representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora, members of socio-political, cultural, and business circles, as well as scholars.
Seymur Fataliyev, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Peru, noted that the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Peru is an indicator of the successful development of friendship, mutual respect**,** and cooperation between the two countries. He emphasized that in recent years, political dialogue, interparliamentary relations, cooperation within international organizations, as well as relations in the fields of culture and education**,** have significantly expanded.
Luis Alberto Campana, Director-General for Europe at the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stressed the dynamic development of relations between Azerbaijan and Peru in recent years.
The event then continued with a special concert program featuring works by Azerbaijani and Peruvian composers.
