LIVING QUARTERS OF “MERKEZI AZERI” PLATFORM DELIVERED
Living quarter modules for the platform on the “Merkezi Azeri” field have been delivered from Sweden to Baku. After unloading at the berth of the Baku Plant for Deep Sea Bases, they are currently being mounted on the platform deck.
According to the Azerbaijan International Operating Company, the quarters have been fabricated by the “Farmadul Emtunga AB” Company. Installation works are being carried out together with the “McDermott” Company. Living quarters are designed for 300 people who will work during preparation period and be ready in 5 months.
According to the vice-president of the “Azeri” project Nil Show, local suppliers and subcontractors will be attracted to the works, which will create extra jobs for the Azerbaijani citizens.
