Malaysian TraXXfm radio station broadcasted programme about Azerbaijan
Baku, May 12 (AZERTAC). TraXXfm, a national English radio station operated by Radio Television Malaysia 24 hours live, broadcasted a special extended programme dedicated to Azerbaijan.
The programme featuring 45-minute speech of the Azeri ambassador Tahir Karimov, was promoted by the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Malaysia.
The ambassador dwelled on the activity of Azerbaijan Embassy in Malaysia, restoration of the Azerbaijan independence, fast development of the Azerbaijan economy, consequences of Khojaly genocide, successful policy of the country`s President Ilham Aliyev, major oil and construction projects and Azerbaijan national culture and cuisine.
The programme also featured national music compositions, such as an overture from Uzeir Hajibayli`s “Koroglu” opera, “Badamli” song in the performance of popular Azerbaijan singer Rashid Behbudov, Figaro`s aria by outstanding Muslim Magomayev and “Baku Nights” composition by Azeri jazz pianist Vagif Mustafazadeh.
