MEETING AT ACADEMY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
Opening the meeting, Rector Seyfeddin Gandilov noted that for the last decade, President Heydar Aliyev had been seriously engaged in the problems of the region and paid particular attention to the Caucasian politics.
Frederick Starr updated the meeting participants on his book about Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, spoke of the today’s geopolitical situation in the Caucasus, relations of our country with neighbors, the work being carried out in the sphere of foreign security policy of Azerbaijan, as well as activity of his institution concerning the Caucasus and the work of the Global Economic Forum he was taking active part at. He told about perspectives of cooperation with our country including the Academy. Mr. Starr stated the truth about Azerbaijan would have been brought with full responsibility to the participants of the conference on Garabakh problem to be held nex year.
In conclusion, Mr. F. Starr responded to a lot of questions from the meeting participants.
