MEETING AT FOREIGN MINISTRY
Mr. Guliyev congratulated the Ambassador with his new appointment, stressing that the relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan is of traditional character. He expressed his confidence that the Ambassador would not spare efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries, and intensively develop the bilateral economic, cultural, education and other cooperation links.
The Minister touched upon the issues related to the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh conflict, expressed his gratitude to the Pakistani ambassador for support of the fair resolution of the conflict in the frame of territorial integrity and inviolability of borders.
Ambassador Mahammad Haifz presented his credentials to Mr. Vilayat Guliyev, stressed that he would use every opportunity to expand bilateral relations between the two countries.
