MEETING AT THE AZERBAIJAN EMBASSY
A meeting dedicated to the 15 October presidential elections in Azerbaijan was held at the embassy of Azerbaijan in Paris. Azerbaijanis residing in Paris, students and staff members of the Embassy attended the meeting. Ambassador Eleonora Huseynova spoke of the latest changes in the Country, accomplishments gained in the field of socio-economic life and foreign policy.
Noting that Azerbaijan is on the eve of important political event, the Ambassador expressed her confidence that the presidential elections would pass in a democratic and transparent atmosphere. The election will be observed by foreign observers, media representatives, she said. Therefore, to take active part in the elections is the duty of every Azerbaijani, who should demonstrate their civic position.
