MEETING IN THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
Peter Ayker informed the Minister in details on work on improvement of election process and the course of his activities in Azerbaijan, meetings in the Executive Apparatus of the President, Milli Majlis (Parliament) and other governmental structures. The head of the mission told about discovered problems related to preparation to the elections and expressed a hope for their solution in conditions of cooperation with officials of Azerbaijan, press center of the Foreign Ministry reports.
Minister Vilayat Guliyev underlined that free, fair and transparent elections, correspondence of their results to international standards are exclusively important for Azerbaijan and stated that all necessary actions in this concern will be taken. Besides, he cleared up a few questions causing concern of the guest.
The parties shared their views on issues of mutual interest at the meeting.
