MEETING OF IDB BOARD OF GOVERNORS HELD IN BAKU
Baku June 24 (AZERTAC). A meeting of the Islamic Development Bank`s (IDB) Board of Governors presided over by Azeri Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev took place in Baku.
Assistant secretary general of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Hamid Acibaye read out a letter of Ekmaladdin Ihsanoglu. Meeting participants heard report of the chief of International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Kanayo Nwanze.
The members of the board examined the 35th annual report of IDB. The participants thanked the head of Azerbaijan and its nation for hospitality and wished success to Dr. Ahmad Mahammad Ali in his office of chief of IDB Group. The event brought together representatives from Bangladesh, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, Morocco, Tunis, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Uganda, Nigeria, Tajikistan and other countries.
