MEETING WITH STUDENT AT THE EMBASSY OF AZERBAIJAN
The head of education department abroad and foreign students of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Gulu Novruzov, tutors of the leading Russian higher educational institutions, where Azerbaijani students study, Vice President of All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress Natiq Agamirov, Chief Editor of the magazine “Issues of History” Ahmed Iskandarov took part in the meeting speaking on success and problems of Azerbaijani students and post-graduate students.
Opening the meeting, Ambassador Ramiz Rizayev expressed his satisfaction with the level of bilateral cooperation between Ministries of Education of the two countries, and underlined that development of Azerbaijani-Russian interstate relations in all fields is a good impulse for strengthening of cooperation in concrete directions, particularly in education.
At the meeting, the participants spoke on the forthcoming Presidential elections in Azerbaijan on October 15. The Ambassador pointed out fatal importance of these elections for our country and their role for the future of young generation of Azerbaijan studying in Russia. Ramiz Razayev underlined the role of the state and announced that all governmental organs, as well as Embassy of Azerbaijan in Moscow, render assistance in solution of students’ problems.
Honor certificates were handed over to good students on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Russia and All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress. A representative of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Gulu Novruzov delivered honor certificates on behalf of the Minister of Education Misir Mardanov.
The student making speeches at the meeting expressed gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev for renewing the tradition of student’s education in Moscow higher educational establishments. The students thanked the Embassy for being involved into their life, and promised to justify the trust of the state.
