MEMORY OF OUTSTANDING STATESMAN HEYDAR ALIYEV REVERED IN SAINT PETERSBURG
The news on demise of the great son of Azerbaijan people, outstanding statesman Heydar Aliyev deeply shocked people of Saint Petersburg. According to the consulate of Azerbaijan to Saint Petersburg, people have been coming to the embassy since December 13 to express their condolences on the hard loss sustained by the people of Azerbaijan.
Famous persons of the city of different nationalities, figures of science and culture write down their sincere words in the Memory Book and express condolences to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and all the people of Azerbaijan.
In connection with the death of President Heydar Aliyev the consulate and Azerbaijani national-cultural autonomy hosted e’hsan on December 18-19 in cultural centers “Shirvan”, “Duet”, “Kamin”, “Oasis”, “Skala”, “Zangezur”, “Vemost”, “Mikki”, “Agdam” etc.
