Microsoft announces contest of innovative teachers in Azerbaijan
Baku, December 8 (AZERTAC). Representative Office of Microsoft Corporation in Azerbaijan with support of the country`s Ministry of Education has announced the launch of a contest of innovative teachers. The aim of the contest, which takes place in two nominations “Innovations in content” and “Innovations in partnership” aims at determining teachers using the best innovative practices in education in secondary schools.
The first nomination is aimed at selecting the best educational projects enabling to teach school curriculum in more effective way through innovation and information technologies.
The second nomination will determine the best educational projects that most effectively involve the various groups in the educational process - teachers, students, schools, parents and others.
The winners of the contest will attend the European Innovative Teachers Forum (ITF), to be held in Moscow on March 22-24, 2011.
