MILLI MAJLIS DELEGATION TO PARTICIPATE IN REGULAR SITTING OF CIS INTERPARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY
According to Milli Majlis press-service, the delegation consists of deputy chairman of Milli Majlis permanent commission on agrarian policy Eldar Gahramanov, member of the permanent commission on energy, ecology and natural resources affairs Elton Mammadov.
Participants of the scientific-practical conference entitled “Improvement of Cooperation of CIS Countries towards Counter-terrorism Fight and its Financing” will exchange views on combat against terrorism on the basis of the UN international Convention, human rights protection, strengthening of cooperation among law-enforcement bodies. Milli Majlis first deputy chairman Arif Rahimzadeh will address the Conference and express Azerbaijan’s position towards the issues, its remarks and proposals.
The plenary sitting of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly will mainly revolve around the counter-terrorism fight, experience of observation over elections in CIS countries, Tax Code, development of model laws on library, results of the Parliamentary Conference of the All-European Cooperation, frontier cooperation, ecological security. The participants will exchange views on legal regulation of the election process, using of the model legislative acts in the national parliaments, etc.
