MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY UNITES STUDENTS OF NUMEROUS COUNTRIES
In his opening speech, Chairman of the Student’s Council I. Ilin stated that main aim of establishment of the Council and conducting of the students meetings is to involve students in formation and activity in the Russian Federation of the nation Diasporas represented in the Council.
Besides, one of the tasks of the Council is to preserve and develop the national traditions, language, and historical, cultural and religious heritage of the nations, strengthen mutual trust and understanding between the representatives of numerous cultures.
In his welcoming speech, rector of Moscow State University, President of Eurasian Universities Association V. Sadovnichy dwelt on history of the University and appealed to the students to make themselves at home and strength the friendship. According to him, firm and advance work is necessary for creation of friendly associations united by the Council of Foreign Students of Moscow State University.
On behalf of Azerbaijanis Association of Moscow State University, student of the 3rd course G. Gahramanov expressed gratitude to the rector for care and attention about students and post graduators, as well as encouragement in creation of friendly association for preservation of the national originality.
Employers of Embassy of Azerbaijan to Russian Federation, representatives of All Russian Azerbaijani Congress attended the sitting.
