National leader Heydar Aliyev`s birthday marked in Bishkek
Bishkek, May 11 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Kyrgyzstan has organized a ceremony on the 88th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The event brought together parliamentarians, ambassadors, representatives of international organizations, members of Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations, journalists.
Opening the event, Ambassador Arif Agayev spoke of the lifetime and activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Other speakers at the event, including Mayor of Bishkek Isa Omurkulov, ambassadors of Kazakhstan and Russia Beybut Isabaev and Valentin Vlasov, MP Narınbek Moldobaev, chairman of Azerbaijan Culture Center “Azeri” Akif Alaferdov told of the national leader`s role in building and development of the Azerbaijani statehood. They also highlighted the national leader`s role in carrying out projects to ensure political, economic and cultural development of Azerbaijan.
The event participants also saw a documentary called “Heydar Aliyev”.
