NEW AMBASSADOR OF GREAT BRITAIN TO AZERBAIJAN ARRIVED IN BAKU
The newly appointed Ambassador of the Great Britain to Azerbaijan Laurence Stanley Bristow arrived in Baku on January 6. The Ambassador said that he is very much satisfied and honored with his appointment as an ambassador of the Great Britain to Azerbaijan. The United Kingdom has good ties here with Azerbaijan and he is going to further strengthen them.
He mentioned that he would try to present his credentials to His Excellency Ilham Aliyev as early as it is possible and meet with ministers, media and NGO representatives as well as diplomatic corps to learn more about Azerbaijan.
L. Bristow was born in 1963, married and has one son and he has been on diplomatic service since 1990.
