New monograph explores Türkiye-Azerbaijan common interests regarding “Armenian issue”
Baku, February 18, AZERTAC
Shabnam Jafarova, a historian at the Baku State University, has published her monograph “The Armenian Issue in the Context of the Common National Interests of Türkiye and Azerbaijan.”
The book, based on nearly 15 years of research and extensive archival materials from the UK, Russia, Türkiye, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, explores the historical emergence of the Armenian issue, the role of Armenian political and religious organizations, and the influence of major powers in the region.
The monograph was reviewed by Professor Ibrahim Zeynalov, Dean of the Faculty of History at BSU, and Professor Musa Gasimli, a corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). It also addresses contemporary developments, including the 44-day Patriotic War. The publication is a valuable resource for students, researchers, and specialists in history and regional studies.
