Nigar Arpadarai: All partners have strong interest in COP29

“COP is a complex process involving a large number of partners and institutions. These partners play a direct role in the success of COP,” UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP29 Azerbaijan Nigar Arpadarai told AZERTAC.
She highlighted the keen interest of all involved parties in the upcoming COP29 Conference: “We, as the COP29 team, have been in Washington for several days, engaging in intensive discussions, particularly with financial institutions, as climate financing, which entails aiding countries affected by climate change, is a top priority. As a high-level climate change champion, collaborating with civil societies and investors is my and my team’s main responsibility,” Arpadarai noted.
She also mentioned that numerous meetings and events are scheduled ahead of the COP29 Conference.
