Norwegian ambassador to Azerbaijan visits Ganja region
Baku, April 13 (AZERTAC). Norwegian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erling Shonsberg has visited Ganja, the second-largest city of the country, where he met with Governor Elmar Valiyev.
Elmar Valiyev informed the Norwegian ambassador about the history, population and economy of the region.
The parties exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
Erling Shonsberg also visited the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University and attended the presentation of the cooperation project with the Agricultural University of Norway.
The project featured stable development of agriculture in Azerbaijan, especially veterinary, pharmacology, ecology, soil science and other fields.
The ambassador underlined that Azerbaijan and Norway have oil and energy cooperation.
He said Norway was interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres.
The ceremony ended with the signing of cooperative project between Norway and the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University.
