OCSE APPOINTED COORDINATOR OF OBSERVER MISSION IN AZERBAIJAN
The OSCE leadership, in the person of its acting chairman, minister of foreign affairs of Netherlands Yaap de Scheffer, appointed deputy chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Mr. Jovanni Kessler as a special coordinator of the mission in Azerbaijan.
As was noted at the OSCE Baku Office, Mr. J. Kessler will be in Azerbaijan until the day presidential elections and take part at the promulgation on 16 October the preliminary results.
The OSCE PA mission of observers will comprise 17 international experts, representing Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Turkey and the United States.
