OIL TANKER SHAH ISMAIL KHATAI COMMISSIONED IN BAKU BAY
Oil tanker “Shah Ismail Khatai” manufactured by Nizhniy Novgorod “Krasnoye Sormovo” shipyard was commissioned on October 25 in Baku bay, AZERTAC reports. Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade and other officials attended the ceremony. Head of Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company Aydin Bashirov familiarized the Premier with the tanker.
It was noted that tanker Shah Ismail Khatai supplied with up-to-date equipment was the analogue of tankers “President Heydar Aliyev” and “Babak”. Length of the tanker is 149,9m, width is 17,3 m, and depth is 10,5m. The tanker with carrying capacity of 13 thousand tons will deliver Kazakhstan oil to Baku ports for transportation through the export Heydar Aliyev Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline in accordance with TRACECA program.
