OMAR ELDAROV’S SOLO EXHIBITION OPENS IN CANADA

Baku, August 25 (AZERTAC). Opening of the photo exhibition of the famous Azeri sculptor, academician Omar Eldarov took place in Toronto and Niagara (Canada) as part of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture.

The exposition was organized as part of the Dialogue of Cultures For Peace international project under the support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Niagara International Music Festival and Turkish Friendship Society.

The exposition features images of sculptures made by Omar Eldarov, including sculptures of two outstanding leaders of the Turkish world - Heydar Aliyev and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk as well as the distinguished Azeri persons - Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Fikret Amirov, Fizuli, Huseyn Javid, and Sattar Bahlulzade.

The exhibition also features another remarkable work by Omar Eldarov - a portrait of the Azerbaijan`s First Lady Ms Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador.

Omar Eldarov was awarded a title of Honorary Member of the Toronto International Institute of Dialogue Among Cultures.
