OPPOSITION THREATENS GEORGIA WITH REVOLUTION
Despite the continuation of counting of the votes, tension in the country does not cease. Mutual accusations are stated. The opposition accuses President Eduard Shevardnadze in fraud of results of the elections, demands either to approve its victory or resign. The President seems not to resign but stands ready to certain concessions. The unsatisfied opposition threatens Georgia with revolution. Aiming at organizing in the regions anti-government acts of protests on 7 November the leader of the “nationalists” Michael Saakashvili went to meet with the activists. On 8 November, he plans to conduct in the capital a multi-thousand anti-government action.
