OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media to visit Azerbaijan

Harlem Desir, OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media is said to visit Azerbaijan recently. It was stated by Mr. Harlem Desir in his meeting with journalists organized within the 15th annual South Caucasus Media Conference here. “The goal of my visit is to closely get acquainted with the real state of the freedom of media in the South Caucasian countries, including Azerbaijan“, he underlined.
At the conference titled “Quality Journalism for Trustworthy and Credible Information”, the participants also discussed the challenges and opportunities for quality journalism posed by the digital transformation, as well as by proliferation of disinformation and propaganda.
