OVER TWO BILLION CUBIC METERS OF GAS SUPPLIED FROM RUSSIA
Azerbaijan electric power stations have been supplied with over 2 billion cubic meters of Russian gas within six month of 2003. The gas transportation is carried out according to the contract between State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and International ‘Itera’ Group of Companies foreseeing to supply 5.5 billion cubic meters of gas to Azerbaijan by the end of this year.The parties had agreed to keep up the price of each thousand cubic meters at the level of US $ 52.
