PATRIARCHY ALEKSEY INVITES RELIGIOUS LEADERS OF CAUCASUS TO MOSCOW

Patriarchy of Moscow and All Russia Aleksey II invited religious leaders of the Caucasus to Moscow to discuss the settlement problems in the Caucasus, executive secretary of the Inter-religion Council Roman Silantyev said.

At his words, the meeting will be attended by head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarchy of All Georgia Ilya II, head of the Caucasus Clerical Office Allahshukur Pashazade, Patriarchy of All Armenians and Cathalicos Garegin II. Representative of the Moscow Patriarchy reminded that Aleksey II has met the religious leaders regularly and now, Ilya II wished to come to Moscow. The meeting of the Four will be on 26 November, after which the parties will adopt a declaration.
