On 11 November, members of the Caspian Integration Business (oil and service) Club met at the International Press Center with the journalists and public representatives.

Speakers dwelt on the achievements, gained in development of the hydrocarbon resources of the Caspian, transportation of oil and oil products to Europe, dynamic development of economy of the countries of region, as the result of farseeing oil policy of Heydar Aliyev, as well as gave detailed information on the activity of Club. It was noted that the Club would publish a newspaper “The Great Business”.

It was stated that on the results of poll conducted among 5000 specialists, President Ilham Aliyev for confident victory at the 15 October presidential elections was conferred with honorable title in nomination of the ‘Politician of the Year’, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev – in nomination of the “Leader of the Eurasia”, and the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan MEP – in nomination of the “Project of the Year”.

Diplomas of honorary titles will be conferred to the winners starting from May 2004.
