President Ilham Aliyev: Our international standing strengthened this year

“This year our international standing has strengthened. Many international organizations have reaffirmed their support for Azerbaijan,” said President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The head of state singled out two organizations. “One of them is the Organization of Islamic Cooperation which launched a contact group on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict during this year’s summit.” The Azerbaijani President said that at the summit the OIC reaffirmed its support for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.
The President also mentioned that the Non-Aligned Movement passed a resolution on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. “This is our great diplomatic and political achievement,” the Azerbaijani President added.
