PRESIDENT OF LATVIA VISITED THE ALLEY OF MARTYRS
The same day President of Latvia Mrs. Vaira Vike-Freiberga has arrived in the Alley of Martyrs in Baku where she visited the graves of brave sons and daughters of the Azerbaijani people who have given their life for independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The supreme guest has laid wreath on the monument “Eternal flame” and left note in the Book for the Alley visitors.
The military orchestra performed the anthems of Latvia and Azerbaijan. The Baku Major Hajibala Abutalibov has gave information about history of the Alley.
