On behalf of the World Organization of Scout Movement, permit me to express deep condolence to the people of Azerbaijan on passing of the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan, a public and political man, and politician of world scale, Mr. Heydar Aliyev.
Heydar Aliyev’s life is an example to serve the people, peace and stability in the region and over the planet. Thanks to titanic labor and selflessness for the welfare of society, Azerbaijan became strong, economically developed and stable state. He was a guiding star for the youth of Your country. His care for the young generation is an example for the deluders of other states. Active participation of the scouts of Azerbaijan at the international arrangements, conducting scout gatherings with the participation of youth of numerous countries of world in Your country, promotion in conducting in 2004 the Eurasian Scour Conference of the Eurasian Region in the city of Baku will be a bright sample of this care. It is not be chance that the young citizens of Azerbaijan, uniting in the Association of Scouts of Azerbaijan made these words their motto: “By the path of Heydar Aliyev – always forward”.
Blessed memory on Heydar Aliyev will live forever in the hearts of peoples.
