On behalf of the World Tourism Organization (WTO), which represents interests of 143 states including Azerbaijan in the field of tourism, please accept my warmest congratulations on your appointment to the office of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
I wish you every success in your large-scale activity on the post of the head of state in the name of Azerbaijan and its people.
Your country has a huge tourist potential to be necessarily used for the sake of the people of Azerbaijan and world’s tourism community. This potential is based on the unique natural and cultural-historical heritage of your country occupying preferred position on the Silk Route, as well as on the hearty hospitality of its residents. The World Tourist Organization, which completes its reorganization into the UN’s specialized agency, will continue to render maximum support and assistance in development of stable tourism in Azerbaijan, the authoritative full member of WTO.
