It is with a very sad heart and sorrow that I express my sincere condolences on the passing away of your father this past Friday. I am very sorry for your personal loss but also the loss to the people of Azerbaijan of a truly historic figure. Heydar Aliyev will be remembered in Azerbaijan’s history as the man who brought pride, prestige and power to this historic nation. I will never forget the legacy of your father and please rest assured of my continue friendship and dedication to seeing that the legacy of Heydra Aliyev lives on as you carry his torch to build a better and more prosperous Azerbaijan.
