Residents of Derbent city were shocked to learn death of one of the outstanding political figures of world, friend of Dagestan people Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev.
In his person, mankind lost successive and wise fight for peace and friendship between peoples, the leader, who made great contribution in establishment of sovereignty and independent of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
As one of the experienced political figures, Heydar Alirza oglu exemplified for many leaders of world powers. We were proud to be contemporary of this great man.
In these difficult times, we are confident that You will continue the course of basic principles of leadership laid by Heydar Aliyev, search of new ways for economic prosperity of Azerbaijan, as well as solution of problems in political and social development.
We will forever keep Heydar Aliyev’s memory in our hearts, his figure will be of vivid evidence for succeeding generations of independent Azerbaijan.
